Mr Zembani – Misonzi (Tribute To Sir Lucius Banda) Mp3 Download
One of Malawi’s most celebrated sensational hit singer and songwriter – Mr Zembani, pulls through with his new sad song titled “Misonzi”. The word Misonzi can be translated into the English language to simply mean “Tears”. This song comes as a tribute in honor of the late Lucius Banda, who was one of Malawi’s legendary and highly respected singer and songwriter. Lucius Banda unfortunately died in June, 2025 after battling a chronic kidney failure.
About a year ago, Mr Zembani dropped a hit banger tagged “Kale” and it now stands as his most streamed song online despite him having other hits. Lucius Banda, before his demise, had worked with some top notch Malawian music artists such as Sam Smack and Cross Chiwalo. He also managed to make some big hits too such as “Nthawi”, which got launched about 12 years ago and it now has 2.6 million streams. That is just how consistent he was with his music career.
